You have one year of complementary warranty with your new purchase, and if you purchased AppleCare coverage along with your computer, or within the first year, it lasts for 3 years from date of purchase. Nice thing is this covers not only your computer hardware, but your Apple software concerns as well. AppleCare follows the equipment, not the purchaser, so it's possible even used equipment might be covered by AppleCare or a service campaign.
